Shells & Cheese

Yield: 6-8 servings
PREP: 30 minutes
COOK: 45 minutes

 

1 box of large shells pasta
1 large jar of spaghetti sauce
1lb hamburger, browned, drained
1 large cottage cheese
3-4 cups mozzarella cheese
Parmesan cheese
Garlic Salt

 

1. Brown hamburger, drain and mix in spaghetti sauce.
2. Prepare pasta according to package directions.
3. Mix cheeses and garlic salt (hold out 1 cup of mozzarella). This mixture should be pasty.
4. Rinse shells in cool water for easier handling and be sure they are drained.
5. Fill shells with cheese mixture and place in a 9×13 casserole dish. (crunch them all together to fit)
6. Pour hamburger/sauce mixture over the top and bake covered at 375`F for 30 minutes. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella on top and bake additional 10-15 minutes uncovered.
