Cheddar Burger Mashed Potato Bake

Yield: 8 servings
PREP: 15 minutes
COOK: 25 minutes

TIP: When making mashed potatoes, use Idaho or all-purpose potatoes for marvelous flavor and texture. Heat the milk before adding it – this minimizes any starchiness.

2 lbs ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 jar (16oz) RAGU Cheese Creations Double Cheddar Sauce
2 teaspoons dry mustard
4 cups prepared mashed potatoes

1. Preheat oven to 425`F
2. In 12-inch skillet, brown ground beef over medium-high heat; drain.
3. Add onion and cook, stirring occasionally, 2 minutes. Stir in Ragu Cheese Creations sauce, mustard, and if desired, salt and ground black pepper to taste. Simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally for 3 minutes or until heated through.
4. Turn into 2-quart casserole; evenly top with mashed potatoes. Bake 25 minutes or until potatoes are lightly golden.
